 garlic & herb croutons

These delicious croutons are both crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside. Serve atop a big Caesar salad, as added crunch to a creamy tomato soup, or as I like to do it- on their own as a savory afternoon nibble :)

INGREDIENTS:

5 cups whole grain bread, sliced into 1 inch squares

1/4 cup olive oil

1/4 tsp salt (or to taste)

1/2 tsp herb de Provence (or Italian herb blend)

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1 tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped (optional)

cracked pepper

DIRECTIONS:

Preheat oven to 350.

Toss bread cubes with all remaining ingredients until well combined.

Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the bread cubes evenly on the baking sheet.

Roast for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
