KIRTAN

When I’m not in the edit chair, you’ll probably find me sitting cross legged on the floor next to my favorite musical companions, my harmonium and mridanga. After my many travels to India in the past decade, I fell in love with the ancient practice of Kirtan, a call and response style of singing meditation that has been practiced in the yogic traditions for thousands of years. It fills my soul to sing with others, and it has become one of life’s biggest joys serving the community in leading kirtans, both locally and abroad.
