KIRTAN

When she’s not in the edit chair, Cody moonlights as a kirtan leader in the Hudson Valley, dedicated to guiding others into deeper connection with self and spirit through the practice of devotional chanting. Her journey with kirtan began in India in 2017, where she first experienced its transformative power. Cody has since returned many times to deepen her practice and understanding of Bhakti Yoga, the path of love and devotion. Through Bhakti, she has discovered that in order to be an instrument of light and love in this world, we must first realign with the song of our own hearts. 

With extensive training in kirtan, yoga, and ayurveda, Cody brings a broad understanding of Vedic wisdom to her chanting offerings throughout upstate New York. She is passionate about making this ancient practice accessible to all, seeing kirtan as a sacred invitation to realign with love, awaken the divinity within, and remember our inherent oneness with all beings.
